Bob Bonn’s art grabs your senses and immediately transports you into a fantasy world of brilliant, pure color…
The son of an artist, Bob was raised with a solid appreciation for artistic technique and the use of color. Educated at Cal State Northridge and U.C. Santa Barbara in drawing and fine art, Bob created and refined his own style over the years. His ability to select an image and infuse it with bold design elements and raw color gives his presentations an original, dramatic flair.
Screen-printing is the most painterly of the printing techniques. It allows the use of layer upon layer of color, exploiting line and mass in bold ways.
The inks can be printed as rich impastos or thin transparent glazes. The result is a print that is both vivid in hue and displays a rich tactile surface.
